CAMP INFORMATION
Dance, Dance, Dance
- Daily non-competitive dance classes are taught by our qualified dance instructors inside our state-of-the-art facility. virtual tour
- Dancers will be exposed to a variety of dance disciplines including Hip Hop, Acrobatics, Jazz, and Musical Theatre.
- Boys and Girls in grades 2 to 8 with our without dance experience, will dance all day, every day!
Arts & Crafts
- Fun, creative, and age appropriate Arts & Crafts activities are provided each day.
- The Arts & Crafts selected promote self expression, and provide an opportunity for creativity outside the dance class.
Outdoor Programming
- Outdoor activities will be schedules daily, weather permitting. These activities will include water play, outdoor lunch, outdoor games, etc.
- Camp ViBE will be utilizing outdoor facilities such as the Dufferin Clark Community Centre Park.
- Campers must bring a labeled hat and sunscreen daily.
Performance Showcase
- To conclude each 2-week camp session, there will be an In-Studio Performace Showcase where campers will perform their dance routines and skills for family and friends.
- The In-Studio Performance Showcase will take place on the last Thursday of each session at 6:00pm.
Pizza Party
- On the day of the In-Studio Performance Showcase, we invite campers to stay at the studio between 4pm and 6pm for a Pizza Party.
- The Pizza Party is a fun and exciting camp-wide event.
- The Pizza Party is an optional event and there is an added fee.
Extended Day Program
- Camp ViBE no longer offers an Extended Day Program.
- Camp hours are 9am - 4pm.
- At no extra charge, campers may be dropped off at the studio as early as 8:30am.
- Campers must be picked-up at 4:00pm sharp.
Snack Stop
- The Snack Stop, located at the main entrance at ViBE, is fully stocked with a variety of juice, pop, milk, fruit snacks, candy, chocolate, and kosher items ranging in price from $1.00-$2.50.
- Campers are encouraged to use the Snack Stop as it provides safe, nut-free refreshments.
- $10 or $20 Snack Stop Cards may be purchased so that campers eliminate the need to bring money every day for snack and drinks.
- Campers must bring their own nut-free morning and afternoon snacks, drinks, and lunch.
- ViBE is equipped with water fountains on the premises.
Trial Day, Single Week Session
- Campers are welcome to attend one week of Camp ViBE, or one Trial Day per session.
- If attending one week of camp, it may only be for the first week of each session.
- Only one Trial Day is permitted per session and may only be taken during the first week of each session.
- The fee for a Trial Day is $39 (tax included)
- The deposit of $100 per session is non-refundable.
- If a camper withdraws before June 1st, the remaining fee will not be charged.
- If a camper withdraws after June 1st, all fees are non-refundable.
- Camp fees may not be transferred to ViBE's annual tuition fees, or to other campers.
- There are no credits for missed days of camp.
- Campers must be picked up promptly at 4pm daily. A 30-minute grace-period will be provided in case of emergency. Emergencies must be reported by calling the studio.
- Late pick-ups will be subject to a $35 late fee.
- ViBE is striving to be a Nut-Free facitlity. All daily snacks and lunches must be Nut-Free.
- Campers must be dressed confortably for dance and have indoor running shoes. Long hair must be tied off the face during dance classes. Jewellery is not permitted in the dance classes.
- Campers must bring labeled sunscreen and hat daily for outdoor activities.
- Please keep all valuables at home. ViBE is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- A detailed Pick-Up Authorization List must be completed with each registration. Camp ViBE's pick up and drop off procedures must be adhered to at all times.
- Campers are discouraged from leaving the premises at any time as they will not be supervised by Camp ViBE Staff while off the premises. A permission slip must be signed by a parent/guardian for a camper to leave ViBE at any time. All campers permitted to leave must sign out and in at the front desk.
- Camp ViBE operates from 9am-4pm Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
- Early drop-off is available from 8:30am at no extra charge.
- Campers must be picked up at 4:00pm sharp.

- Session #1: Monday, July 5th - Friday, July 16th = $370.65
- Session #2: Monday, July 19th - Friday, July 30th = $370.65
- Session #3: Tuesday, August 3rd - Friday, August 13th= $336 (closed Monday, August 2nd)
- Session #4: Monday, August 16th - Friday August 27th= $370.65
- Trial Day: Try one day at Camp ViBE for $39 (only one Trial Day per session allowed)
A non-refundable deposit of $100/session is due upon registration.
The remaining balance is due June 1st, 2010.
Each Camp ViBE family will receive a registration receipt and an important email with camp specifics prior to the beginning of their session.
1. My child looks forward to attening Camp ViBE with some friends. My child has dance experience, but the friends do not. Will they still be together? Will my child be challenged?
Dancers will be grouped with their friends for camp activities; however, campers will be divided according to skill level for dance classes in order to further challenge their existing skill set. Your child will get the best of both worlds by being with friends as well as focusing on individual abilities. All campers will walk away from their Camp ViBE experience having had a lot of fun and becoming better dancers!
2. Can my child leave the premises for lunch, or walk home alone at the end of the day?
We discourage campers from leaving ViBE's premises at any time that they will not be supervised. We suggest that all campers come prepared with all the snacks and lunch that they will need for the day, and encourage campers to use our fully stocked Snack Stop for their refreshment needs. If you would like to allow your child to leave ViBE's premises unsupervised, a permission slip must be obtained from our front desk and submitted with a parent/guardian signature. Your child will be required to sign out and back in every time. Only campers with a signed permission slip will be allowed to leave ViBE without supervision at any time.
